We were commissioned to convert a large detached house on Footscray Road SE9 into five separate flats. The project involved a complete transformation of the building, including structural adjustments, new installations, and internal refurbishments, while ensuring that the new layout met the client’s requirements for space and functionality.
Our team faced several challenges including preserving the buildings integrity during the conversion and ensuring compliance with local planning regulations. We worked closely with architects to ensure the building met current acoustic, fire and thermal regulations to maximise the energy efficiency of the building.
The project was completed on schedule, with each flat finished to a high standard. The client was thrilled with the outcome and the flats are now fully functional providing a healthy financial return for our clients.
